卑弥呼-HIMIKO- 数年前、奈良の箸墓古墳を訪れたあとに東京に戻ってから邪馬台国の女王卑弥呼に想いを馳せて書いた曲です。ライブで演奏していたある日「邪馬台国はどこにあると思う？」とお客様で聴きにいらしていた邪馬台国研究家さんから質問を受けて、私は本当のことは何もわからない…なんとなく、邪馬台国は移動していたのではないか？と答えた。そのかたは「朝鮮半島説が有力だ」と仰っていた。日韓交流フェスティバル、釜山空港から車で2時間程走らせて会場入り。舞台監督さんやメンバーさん通訳さんと打ち合わせをしながら、ふと、この舞台で卑弥呼を演奏したいと思った。松竹の山の風土や建築物からインスピレーションを感じたのもあるし、邪馬台国朝鮮半島説も頭の片隅にあったから、こんなチャンスは2度と訪れないかもしれない…と。チェ先生から曲変更の許可もおりて、김희현さんが五線紙をわけてくださり、その晩、宿に帰って急遽譜面を書いた。急にもかかわらず、前日昼炎天下と夕食後と当日昼炎天下のリハーサルの甲斐もあり、本番演奏してくださった日本チームの黒田さん、喜多さん、韓国チームのメンバーの皆様、本当にありがとうございました。 감사합니다

I enjoyed my vacation from June to July for about a month.Above all,the emerald green river in the ATERA Valley was impressived!!! I reconfirmed the beautiful of powerful nature in Japan.I stayed camp site at the first time.I had an unforgettable time.

Masayo Koketsu in Berlin – Japanese Alto Saxophonist Exploring Berlin Music Culture

Masayo Koketsu (纐纈之雅代) is a Japanese alto saxophonist and improviser.This visit to Berlin included performances and exploration of the city’s music culture.

In The daytime,I went to the Berlin Wall,Potsdamer Platz,Tempelhof Airport ,Pergamon Museum, and so on.We are walking and walking…Berlin has a techno music culture the best in the world!!Of couse I went the”Panke club”in the midnight…I excited that an interesting fusion of tradisional culture and drug culture in Berlin!

n May, I participated the improvisation orchestra of Mats Gustafsson(born 29 October 1964 in a Swedish free jazz saxophone player).I had to take him lecture for two days with students of the Lithuanian Academy at MAMA Studio..And third day,the orchestra’s performance was very interesting that a wonderful outdoor stage in vilnius!

I visited to Vilnius for the first time.The day after I arrive at Vilnius,I participated in the[in Memorial Jonas Mechas]improvisation orchestra.Lithuanians are more instinctual and wilder than japanese.Deep Blood and Their philosophy appear in their sound.I was deeply moved and inspired from my depths of the cells.I made a simple YouTube by combining sound and many photo.Please enjoy.
